Alexis Sanchez: 'Life at Manchester United is very different'

Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has Jose Mourinho to thank after breaking into the United first team.

Rose had been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford last summer, following his shock outburst over the transfers and the wage policy at Tottenham before the start of the season. Now, he has dropped down the pecking order with Wales worldwide Ben Davies considered first-choice above Rose.

"He will be a big player for Manchester United".

"We are very happy to have reached the final".

Could Rose be the answer to United's left-back woes?

The 22 year old has had a frustrating season as Ashley Young has been preferred on the left side of the defence mostly by the gaffer.

He told Canal Football Club: "Right now, I am at Manchester United and I am honestly only thinking about the present".

There was reported interest from European giants Barcelona in the services of Shaw, but a move to Tottenham could prove to be more favourable for the Englishman.

Rose, 27, has been linked with a move away from Spurs for much of Mauricio Pochettino's spell in charge, so much so that it looked like the England global would depart in the same window as Kyle Walker.

And Shaw, who worked with Pochettino for 18 months at Southampton, revealed he would love to work for the Argentine.

However, his performance at Wembley on Saturday again showed the quality he possesses as a centre-back and May believes he is the best option in the current Manchester United squad when fit.

The 27-year-old Spaniard was named in Professional Footballers' Association's Team of the Year last week and is a favourite to win United's Player of the Season award for the fourth consecutive campaign. Perhaps, a win-win deal for all parties involved.
