Fernandinho: Record-breaking Man City will be remembered for 100 years

Manchester City have already won the League and it now looks like that they are only playing to break many records.

The Hammers were humbled 4-1 at home by the newly crowned champions on Sunday, finding themselves yet again under pressure, being now placed 15th, with just three points separating them from relegation battlers Southampton.

However, just a week later, United handed the title to City on a plate by going down 1-0 at home to bottom club West Brom. "The numbers are facts, hopefully we will get one more win". "In 100 years it will be remembered that Manchester City in 2017-18 broke all those records and played fantastic football".

Will Manchester City break the record for most Premier League wins?

"While there are still negotiations to be done with certain players, the new manager will inherit good attacking players in Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Mesut Ozil, Alexandre Lacazette". It's good to see something to fight for, to achieve something'.

Leroy Sane, Gabriel Jesus and Fernandinho were on target, while Pablo Zabaleta scored an own-goal against his old club, as Pep Guardiola's title winners cruised to a record-equalling 30th victory of the campaign.

"There are a lot of things wrong at West Ham this season, not just on the pitch".

Guardiola's side host Huddersfield next Sunday - when they will be presented with the trophy - before rounding off the season against Brighton and Southampton.

'It would not be fair to them if we came down here for a holiday. "But we can not hope for Swansea, Southampton and Stoke to keep dropping points, we need to think about West Ham, going into the game to take three points".

In any country, the league - a 38 game marathon played over a nine topsy turvy months - is the best empirical measure of superiority. Next season everyone starts with zero points.

"Leicester is a team that doesn't have anything to play for other than pride - they lost their last game heavily against Crystal Palace".

"We tried our best but it was not good enough".
