NBA Reportedly Warns Drake Over Verbal Altercation With Kendrick Perkins

This comes shortly after his confrontation with Kendrick Perkins during Game 1 of the Cavs vs. the Raptors.

The Raptors hosted Game 2 on Thursday.

Toronto Star sports columnist Bruce Arthur claimed: "This went all the way into the tunnel, with Drake calling Perkins a "fucking pussy" and calling for him to come out".

Drake, who has been Toronto's global ambassador since 2013, occasionally sits in a courtside seat adjacent to Toronto's bench and trades barbs with visiting players. Pitchfork has reached out to Drake's representatives for comment. Making sure this doesn't happen again, the National Basketball Association has issued a warning to the rapper for his role in the incident, according to a report from USA Today Sports.

The Raptors lost the game by a single point, 113-112, and also lost the second in their playoff series 128-110, leaving them needing to win four of their five remaining games.

The NBA has a fan code of conduct that calls for spectators to behave without disruption.

"At the end of the day, it isn't about Perk versus Drake; that doesn't even sound right", Perkins told ESPN of the warning. It's the Cleveland Cavaliers versus the Toronto Raptors.

"I'm here to represent the Cleveland Cavaliers", the 6-foot-10 center said.

Perkins, who was not suited up for the game, fired back at Drake with the pair being separated by security.

The Raptors hosted game two on Thursday and Cleveland won 128-110.
