NFL Draft: Dallas Cowboys pick up TE Dalton Schultz 137th overall

The Dallas Cowboys will look to reload at wide receiver after cutting the talented and controversial Dez Bryant. He joins a crowded tight end room in Dallas that still includes Witten, Geoff Swaim, Blake Jarwin and Rico Gathers. He isn't projected to be as prolific as a pass catcher as other tight ends in this draft, but he's a solid run blocker, and could make a difference in that area immediately.

STILL NEED: The Cowboys didn't draft a safety despite moving one of last season's starters, Byron Jones, back to cornerback. Overcoming that torment, he said, helped him reach his level of success in football. "His length isn't ideal; it's 33-inch arms".

Williams didn't care which position he'd play: "Wherever the coach wants me to play, I'm playing".

Dallas could use versatility on a line that struggled at times with injuries and ineffectiveness.

In his two-year career with the Rams, Gallup recorded 176 receptions, 2,685 yards, and 21 receiving touchdowns.

"I'm not really coming to replace anybody", he said from his home in Monroe, Georgia. The third-day choices were Schultz, quarterback Mike White of Western Kentucky (fifth round), receiver Cedrick Wilson of Boise State (sixth) and Alabama running back Bo Scarbrough (seventh).
