Nintendo's NES Classic Will Be Back In Stock Soon, Here's When

Nintendo has given the re-release date of June 29th.

Japanese gamers and manga aficionados and every combination thereof will get a treat this summer with the release of a NES Classic Edition loaded with games from the pages of Weekly Jump.

Nintendo has kept its promise and is bringing back the NES Classic Edition Re-stock after a short period of discontinuation. The two consoles share identical hardware but have unique looks, localized versions of the games, and a selection of region-specific games.

Nintendo has seen a lot of success with Nintendo Switch. The MSRP for the NES Classic Edition will be $59.99 - about 1/3rd of what it will cost you to buy one of the scalped ones these days.

The SNES Classic is just as popular as its older brethren.

It's actually more puzzling to imagine that Nintendo didn't have that many "NES mini" consoles made in the first place.

The real question will be how many Nintendo will make. At the time of discontinuation, 2.3 million units had been sold. But those who missed out on the NES Classic will have another chance to purchase the console.

NES Classics are coming back, baby. The Nintendo retro console, along with the SNES Classic Edition, will be available until the end of 2018. Knowing Nintendo's skills at estimation, however, that might not exactly be reassuring.

With the release of the SNES Classic Edition, Nintendo and its partner retailers were much more stringent with their supply.
