North Korea suspends talks with South scheduled for Wednesday

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Sunday the US would be interested in American private sector investment in the country if they comply with President Donald Trump's demands for denuclearization.

"What Chairman Kim will get from America is our finest - our entrepreneurs, our risk takers, our capital providers. They are in great need of agricultural equipment and technology", he said on CBS' "Face the Nation".

According to Yonhap News reports, the Max Thunder drills being carried out by South Korea and the U.S. were a rehearsal for an invasion of North Korea, which the North deemed a "provocation".
