Trump Nominated For Nobel Peace Prize Over North Korea

A group of President Donald Trump's most ardent supporters in the House of Representatives have sent a letter to the Norwegian Nobel Committee, formally nominating the President for a Nobel Peace Prize.

The Republican lawmakers have written in their letter that it is Trump's "peace through strength policies" that are bringing peace to the Korean peninsula and that his "tireless work" towards peace in this world deserves recognition. It was signed by 17 other Republicans.

The nomination will be for the 2019 year since the 2018 award nomination period ended in February.

Moon also always been a supporter of Trump's efforts to end the Korean crisis, stating Trump "deserves big credit for bringing about the inter-Korean talks" and "it could be a resulting work of the USA -led sanctions and pressure". But an agreement by which the North would give up its nuclear weapons and allow for the world to confirm it still seems far off. The communist regime's dictator, Kim Jong Un, tested several missiles purportedly capable of reaching the United States and detonated what Pyongyang said was a hydrogen bomb.

Recent comments from the leaders of the two Koreas have raised hopes.

"Although North Korea has evaded demands from the worldwide community to cease its aggression for decades, President Trump's peace through strength policies are working and bringing peace to the Korean Peninsula". "His Administration successfully united the worldwide community, including China, to impose one of the most successful global sanctions regimes in history".

After which, the Republicans and Donald Trump supporters began talking about how this was down to Trump's policies and his show of strength to the secret state.

The White House did not immediately respond to the news of the nomination.

Marsha Blackburn, who is running for a Senate seat in Tennessee. In another bow to Trump on Wednesday, Kim released the last three American detainees who were held in North Korean prison camps.

Evan Jenkins, who is running for the Senate in West Virginia. Messer is now locked in a tight three-way primary battle in IN for a U.S. Senate seat.

The letter's signatories include: Reps.

The Nobel Peace Prize, one of five Nobel awards generally given out annually for over 100 years, goes to whoever "shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses".
