Video game 'Fortnite' is teaming up with The Avengers

The scribe from Entertainment Weekly made note that the villain will hop realities with the power and might of the Infinity Gauntlet for a limited time on Fortnite's Battle Royale mode today. It's not just Thanos alone.

Meanwhile, "Fortnite" players are well acquainted by now with Thanos getting nerfed in the game to give other players (especially the noobs) a chance to wield the Infinity Gauntlet and play as the Mad Titan.

Why exactly did we get a Thanos cross-over in Epic Game's Fortnite?

It's the latter which has served as the inspiration for a new video shared by Reddit user IsaacDaKing, who I believe has gotten more than their money's worth from their video-editing software.

In fact, fans are asking for Thanos to be even more powerful. Thanos' shield cap has been decreased from 300 to 200, laser damage vs. players has been decreased from 15 to 12, and his max health has been increased from 700 to 800.

Fortnite Battle Royale is a competitive mashup of The Hunger Games and Minecraft, where 100 players land on a remote island, collect resources, and attempt to survive as the last person standing.

We're glad they did though, the cross-over is a super fun addition to the game. A very competitive game that is played for big money on the E sports scene has to be balanced. In this gamer's completely unfounded opinion, they brought out the nerf hammer a little too soon this time. As always let us know your thoughts below.

Just when you think Fortnite can't get any bigger, it does.
