Chazelle's First Man, Official Trailer #1

Chazelle's First Man, Official Trailer #1

As seen above in the new trailer for First Man, Gosling is playing Neil Armstrong, the first human being to set foot on the moon.

As noted by NME, the trailer first appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live", where Gosling and Kimmel wore spacesuits for the "first-ever interview in space". Following astronaut adventures like The Right Stuff and Hidden Figures, First Man focuses on Neil Armstrong and his spacefaring buddies at NASA during the Apollo moonshot missions of the late 1960s.

Chazelle has rounded up a spectacular cast, which includes Kyle Chandler, Pablo Schreiber, Jason Clarke, Ciaran Hinds and Corey Stoll, among others and it has our space nerd sense tingling.

Following the first poster drop earlier today, Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for First Man.

In this journey takes a toll on his relationship with wife Janet (played by Claire Foy of The Crown), answering all the naysayers shakes his confidence a bit.

In the amusing interview, Ryan appeared to be annoyed by the questions that Jimmy was asking.

One reporter asks him his thoughts of how he would go down in history for his achievement, "if this flight is successful". "We're planning on the flight being successful". "You're not just going to work". "TThere are risks but we have every intention of coming back", Gosling tells the press as Armstrong. First Man is directed by Chazelle, written by Nicole Perlman and Josh Singer, adapted from a book by James R. Hansen.
