Marcelo opens the door to Neymar and sends Ronaldo a message

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo wishes to stay in Europe if he carries out his threat of leaving the Spanish capital this summer - ruling out any potential move to Major League Soccer or the Chinese Super League at this stage of his career.

The appearance of the Cristiano Ronaldo factor has given hope to the Neymar operation however.

The 26-year-old was heavily linked with a move to the Bernabeu all through last season barely one season after joining Paris Saint Germain from Barcelona in the summer of 2017. I guess someday Neymar will play in Real Madrid.

The Frenchman has since resigned but Bale's future in Madrid is far from certain and Bayern Munich have earmarked him as a replacement for Arjen Robben.

Both Ronaldo and Bale hinted they could leave Real after the 3-1 win over Liverpool in the Champions League final last month.

"Neymar will always have open doors at Real Madrid".

According to another report, Ronaldo became more unhappy after his agent Jorge Mendes met with the club on Wednesday. "It is hard to be at a better place than Madrid, the best club in the world, but life is not just about glory".

Marcelo has also suggested that Neymar will one day inherit a crown now owned by Ronaldo.

Record claims that the five-time Ballon d'Or victor has reached this conclusion, less than two weeks after winning his third straight Champions League with Madrid, not because of money but rather status, and because of unkept promises from Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.

Their World Cup-winning side of 2002 was loaded with attacking talent and captured the imagination of a global audience.

Former Madrid star Luis Figo said his former worldwide teammate had not chosen the best moment to make public his thinking, which may have been influenced by things we do not know.

"I think the best players in the world have to play at Real Madrid, and I already said for two or three years that, for me, one day Neymar will be there".
