Meghan, With Prince Harry, Makes Balcony Debut Alongside In-Laws

The couple later joined other members of the royal family on the palace's front balcony to watch the royal fly-past. Even princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie (Daughters of Prince Andrew, Queens second son) made an appearance.

Though she's eager to commence her royal duties, Markle still has to undergo duchess training with the Queen's personal assistant, Samantha Cohen.

The entire royal family, including for the first time Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, was to gather on the balcony of Buckingham Palace at the conclusion of the parade to watch a fly-over by the Royal Air Force.

Seeking inspiration from sister-in-law the Duchess of Cambridge's 2017 fuschia-hued look, the 36-year-old opted for a blush pink skirt suit and scored serious style points in the process.

The lipreader told The Daily Mirror it was a simple, but caring exchange. "There's going to be a lot of eyes and I am going to have an influence on other people".

Royal blog Royal Central reports that this is the largest royal family gathering so far this year.

Not only was Saturday's pageantry a party for Queen Elizabeth II herself, it was also the first time the newly minted Duchess of Sussex has ever been photographed with so many royals.

The ceremony has taken place for more than 250 years.

Princess Charlotte, meanwhile, took a mini tumble that resulted in some tears: Right as she was peeking out over the balcony's balustrade, the munchkin lost her balance and fell backwards.

In celebration of the queen's birthday, which is actually in April, over 1,400 parading soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians come together each June in a display of military precision and horsemanship.

Princess Charlotte was well on her way to becoming the sassiest royal in the British monarchy, with her adorable waves to well-wishers after Prince Louis's birth and sticking her tongue out to a crowd of cameras outside Uncle Harry's wedding.
