Microsoft's next Xbox console reportedly coming in 2020

It looks like the next installment of the Halo franchise might be launching differently compared to past iterations. During the two-minute announce trailer we're taken through an ecosystem of animals and fauna on an unnamed planet, eventually getting a glimpse of a helmet bearing Master Chief.

They also noted that Master Chief will have a more prominent role in the game than he did in Halo 5. Will it have both a strong single and multiplayer component like past entries? In the past, it's used the E3 trade show to reveal new video-game hardware, but that wasn't the case this year. There is no specific Halo Infinite release date yet. This will provide Compulsion Games all the resources and support they will need for developing the next level of futuristic games.

What Systems is Halo Infinite Coming To? The latest game features a much larger world and new puzzles.

According to a new report from Brad Sams of Thurrott.com, the new console, codenamed Scarlett, will arrive sometime in 2020. It's not clear if it will be exclusive to the new system. Some of those titles are completely brand new games and some were the long-awaited sequels to some of our favorite games. The game is confirmed for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Unfortunately, we just don't know at this time, as Microsoft and 343 Industries kept their lips clammed up tight other than debuting the game through this trailer.

We're seeing a return to the familiar art style, and the new engine will play a big role in the gameplay.

It will continue the story from Halo 5: Guardians but will be built in a way that makes it a good place to start your first halo adventure. There will discounts on hundreds of games, accessories, Xbox Game Pass and Live Gold subscriptions, plus Dollars 50 off any Xbox One.
