Trump calls for deporting illegal immigrants with 'no judges or court cases'

- President Donald Trump says people who "invade" the USA must immediately be sent back to their countries and not be given a court hearing.

"We can not allow these people to invade our County", Trump tweeted. "So I think myself and a number of Senators, at least a few of us, will stand up and say let's not move any more judges until we get a vote, for example, on tariffs", the Arizona Republican said on Sunday in an interview with ABC News' George Stephanopoulos. "Our system is a mockery to good immigration policy and Law and Order", Trump tweeted. Trump's tweets Sunday came hours after federal officials released a plan to reunify migrant children with their parents in a mass detention center in Texas. President Donald Trump's struggles to push immigration legislation through Congress and his about-face on breaking up immigrant families are putting a spotlight on his competence in carrying out his policies.

This is not the first time Flake, who sits on the Judiciary Committee, has threatened to block Trump's judicial picks.

Last week, the president found himself on the defensive over his hard-line immigration stance, signing an executive order Wednesday reversing his family separation policy that instead seeks to detain children with their families. "What is the goal of the House doing good immigration bills" when Senate Democrats are unlikely to pass the Republican bills, he wrote. Nor did the administration have plans to begin reuniting families already separated.

While some who advocate for stricter immigration rules have argued that people are making fraudulent asylum claims or abusing the loopholes in USA immigration laws, Baron said Trump's views went way beyond those arguments.

However, the president's frustration over the issue only grew.

"The president of the United States has just forcefully proposed the end of political asylum and no due process for migrants", Sherrilyn Ifill, president of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, wrote on Twitter.

"The Republican-controlled Congress, which waited for Trump to undo by unilateral decree the border folly they could have prevented by actually legislating, is an advertisement for the unimportance of Republican control", Mr. Willwrote. While 58% of all adults said they disapproved of Mr. Trump's handling of the policy, 81% of Republicans said they approved.

"When the president says that and calls them clowns and losers, how does he expect the Democrats to sit down and work with Republicans on these issues?"

"We are keeping families together, and this will solve that problem", he said after signing the order in the Oval Office. "Grit their teeth for four years and win the White House", adding, "This is not my party".
