Sony Reveals "Amazing Red" Spider-Man PS4 Pro Bundle

Sony Reveals

The new limited edition Spider-Man themed PS4 Pro was announced during this years San Diego Comic Con.

As for what was unveiled last night, the big news was the new special edition PS4 Pro, which does look pretty natty and has already been confirmed for a September 7 release in the UK.

The Marvel's Spider-Man bundle is available to pre-order in the U.S. for $399.99 United States dollars and in Canada for $499.99 CAD. Sony hasn't revealed how many will be available, so if you're interested in picking one up, you'll likely want to pre-order the bundle to ensure you get your hands on one before supplies run out. The Velocity Suit, along with the other pre-order bonus suits, will be instantly unlocked for those who pre-order the game, though it will also be available in-game for those who don't. The controller uses a mixture of that same red color along with white buttons to pair nicely with the console. The trailer also has Mary Jane Watson and Mile Morales.

There are a lot of Spider-Men (and women) in the animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which deals with the collision of multiple realities.

And it's not because the film will apparently feature a "much grittier, grounded, complicated character", according to director Ruben Fleischer. Miles, who also goes by the codename of Spider-Man in the comics, doesn't do much in the trailer except make a few jokes. The costume was designed by legendary comic book artist, Adi Granov.

At times she's been an ally to Spidey, but here she's up against him, because she's been hired by none other than Norman Osborn, whose mysterious role in the Spider-Man game is not as the Green Goblin (at least so far), but the Mayor of NY, looking to protect his election campaign in a city being picked apart by Spider-Man's myriad foes.
