Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers returned to Sunday night's game against the Chicago Bears after an injury scare in the second quarter.

A 12-yard touchdown pass to Davante Adams with 9:01 left in the game has the Packers within 20-17 of the Bears.

The Packers had never before overcome a 17-point fourth-quarter deficit in their 100-year history. But still, on one leg, he was still Aaron Rodgers and he put together a few magnificent drives to get Green Bay back in the game. Aaron Rodgers playing on one leg, against the Bears defense that had crushed the Packers in the first half with Khalil Mack, and making play after play while not being able to move in the pocket, was a thing of instant legend.

The Chicago Bears almost had a superb upset to start the 2018 National Football League season against the rival Green Bay Packers, which was fueled by recently-acquired star Khalil Mack. He ran 64 yards after the catch for a 75-yard go-ahead touchdown with 2:13 left.

"I felt like I left a lot of throws out there", Trubisky said. The Bears quickly matched the Packers' transition tender with a new four-year, $56-million deal. Green Bay fans have to hope that Rogers stays on the field and doesn't suffer an early broken collarbone injury like he did last season.

"Well, this is what we're paid to do", Rodgers said. "We had to get adjusted and I think that first couple drives we were trying to do too much".

The injury happened in the second quarter when Rodgers stayed down after a sack.

The Bears hit the headlines when they acquired Mack in a trade with the Raiders this month as they gave up two first-round draft picks to secure his services.

Backup DeShone Kizer replaced Rodgers on Green Bay's next drive. Mack wasn't the only Bears defender to enjoy an exemplary half, but he was the Chicago player whose star shone the brightest.

"I was really impressed with how he commanded the huddle and extended plays", Nagy said of Trubisky who, after a hot start, cooled off and finished with a 77.2 passer rating, completing 23 of 35 passes for 171 yards. The win tied the biggest comeback of Rodgers' career, according to ESPN Stat & Information.

Bears kicker Cody Parkey made a 26-yard field goal to open the second quarter with a 10-0 Bears lead.

This one might not rank up there in importance with his Super Bowl XLV MVP performance, the Hail Mary in Detroit or the sideline pass to Jared Cook in the divisional playoff game at Dallas.

It would only take the Packers three plays.
