New England Patriots: Fantasy projection for Tom Brady in Week 1

What can owners expect from New England Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady, in Week 1? "I've been doing it for a long time", Brady said.

Injuries have limited Watt to only eight games over the last two seasons, but the three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year is back healthy this year, and his confidence level is spilling over into interview with the media.

To compensate, the Patriots will lean on playing fundamental football and making in-game adjustments for things they didn't see on film. "I love being out there, the preparation, what it takes to be a great player".

Meanwhile, the Patriots begin yet another season as the favorite in a conference they have dominated for almost two decades thanks to Brady. You want speed off the edge? "He's a great leader for us and there's no better example that you want to follow".

Brady says he'd like to keep playing until he's 45, comparing quitting now to climbing a mountain but stopping before reaching the summit. "Different things come up, and decisions are made, that's why you're team is never the same at the beginning of the season as the end". I mean, football's fun for me. I still feel that there's things to accomplish. To get an expert's perspective, we checked in with CBS 11 Dallas's sports anchor Bill Jones, who broke down four of the biggest games of the weekend and picked the winners.

Well, the man who probably knows Brady better than anyone else - New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick - has seen just how intense Brady can get. So there we are playing in a pro-am tournament, where, as an amateur if you hit a bad shot you don't really worry about it, you play the pro's ball anyways, that's what you have him for. I'm learning to do deal with it better'.

As for his conditioning, Brady says he is comfortable with his situation concerning his personal trainer, Alex Guerrero.

"We had the opportunity to put the game away and we didn't", he said. I don't think it's going to be easy.

With a win: A win on Sunday would be Belichick's 251st in the regular season, moving him past Tom Landry for third all-time in National Football League history.

Dont'a Hightower, Rob Gronkowski and Duron Harmon were all captains previous year, but weren't re-elected. "I don't want to bring on any drama this year". A lot of players retire at 33.

"From the time that he arrived here ... he had really good poise, very smart guy", O'Brien said. There's not a ton of pressure on the amateurs because you have a good player with you who probably is going to make a par on nearly every hole and birdie a few.

The theme continued when Brady was later asked about Nike's advertisement with quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

But before the avalanche of injuries, the Texans gave the eventual AFC champion New England Patriots all they could handle during a Week 3 visit to Gillette Stadium.
