Receiver Jakeem Grant added: "When he's back there, we know we can make splash plays".

"I couldn't feel my fingers, feel my hand", Mariota said. "I know he'll be mad at a few decisions he made where he might have had some better plays, and that happens".

A win is a win, no matter how long it takes to achieve.

The game was 10-3 at the time of the second lightning delay. That game lasted five hours, 16 minutes. On a first-and-10 play for the Titans, Blaine Gabbert hit Walker on a crossing route that went for a 15-yard gain.

"It's just go time", Gabbert said. "To come away from this long day, this grind of a game, and get a win, it feels good". ESPN reported that it was an ankle injury and possibly serious. "Our thoughts and prayers are with him".

DAVIE, Fla. - There's no such thing as a normal season opener for the Miami Dolphins in recent years. The dynamic duo of Gore and Drake gave us a little taste of what's to come. "And I'm going, 'We're playing a game.' I think it was 5 o'clock".

While Lewan remained motionless on the field, Dolpjhins defensive tackle Jordan Phillips and Dolphins defensive back Bobby McCain were flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct as fights broke out on the field. "I was going, 'Please run by me'".

About four minutes later, Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill connected with Kenny Stills on a deep pass for a 75-yard touchdown to extend Miami's lead to 24-10. Tannehill admitted he "left a lot of plays out there". Jackson hurt his shoulder on a 26-yard punt return. Lewan sprawled face down on the turf, then suddenly sprang to his feet, and players exchanged words and shoves.

While that was tough news for the Titans as they went on to lose a weird and lengthy game, Hayes' hit has sparked plenty of controversy over whether or not it was dirty. No Titans appeared to protest.

The Dolphins take on the Jets next weekend on the road.

This has been an absolutely disastrous opening Sunday for Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota.
