Juventus vs. Genoa - Football Match Report

Andreas Pereira has said that Manchester United's performance against Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday has left them feeling "pumped up" for the upcoming Champions League clash with Juventus.

The Croatian boss replaced Davide Ballardini before the global break for his third spell in charge of Genoa and he made an immediate impact as the Italian champions failed to record a victory for the first time in nine league games this season.

"We have to go into the game looking to start on more of the front foot, especially at home", Young said.

Cristiano Ronaldo's first-half strike was cancelled out by Daniel Bessa as the visitors ended a five-game top-flight losing streak at the Allianz Stadium.

In an attempt to stifle Genoa as they scented an equaliser Allegri replaced Juan Cuadrado with Douglas Costa, the Brazilian winger making his first appearance since a four-game ban for spitting.

Manchester United's recent comebacks indicate a team growing in confidence, according to Andreas Pereira.

"I think we deserved to win it, especially when we got back into the game and we really did get on top, but this is what we have to do against Juventus".

"We conceded a goal from a loss of focus".

"I'm personally very satisfied and a year ago I got to learn a lot from Buffon, whilst also playing a lot of games".

United fought back from going behind to put themselves in a winning position in each of those matches and Pereira thinks they are showing signs of the fighting spirit of the great sides of old.

"But that end pass, that cross or that final shot is what we needed to improve and we did that in the second half".
