Prince Harry makes comment about royal baby's gender - boy or girl?

Kensington Palace announced that the couple were expecting their first child together on Monday October 15, although the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly shared their happy news with the rest of the royal family at Princess Eugenie's wedding on Friday.

The final stop of the day will see Meghan and Harry visit a local school to play netball and touch football with the children.

Her mum Rachelle Gibbons said: "Sethunya is very excited to be Meghan's mini me".

A beaming Duke and Duchess of Sussex thrilled thousands of fans outside the Sydney Opera House on Tuesday during their first meeting with the general public since the former Meghan Markle's newly announced pregnancy. They will be travelling to Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand thereafter, reported E!

The dignitaries also presented Harry and Meghan with Akubras - traditional wide-brimmed Australian hats - which were gifted to them for their wedding in May.

"Thank you for the incredibly warm welcome and the chance to meet so many Aussies from all walks of life", Prince Harry said at an official reception.

And as the countdown begins, excited Dubbo residents are set to welcome Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle on Wednesday.

The pair also encountered other wildlife at the zoo on the shores of Sydney Harbour, with staff showing off wallabies, quokkas and a short-legged echidna, which seemed very taken by the royal guests.

Dunne then said, "I think it's wonderful the two of you".

"You remind me so much of myself when I was younger".

Mrs Dunne said: "It was lovely to meet the duchess, Meghan".

The couple travelled to the city's Taronga Zoo where they opened the new Institute of Science and Learning before getting up close and personal to native animals including koalas.
