Ruby Rose Looks Amazing In Her Batwoman Costume

The annual Arrowverse crossover is on the horizon, and now we have the first look at one of its biggest players: Batwoman.

This achievement is not lost on Rose who expressed her gratitude and excitement for being able to portray Batwoman on the small screen. "Based on the characters from DC".

After her introduction in Elseworlds, the plan is for Batwoman to transition to her own standalone CW show for the 2019 fall TV season.

The costume is designed by 4 times Academy-Award victor Colleen Atwood.

The crossover, titled "Elseworlds," is scheduled to begin December 9 with The Flash, followed by Arrow on December 10, then Supergirl on December 11. In 2006 she returned as Kate Kane, "an out lesbian and trained street fighter primed to snuff out [Gotham City's] criminal resurgence". DC's Legends of Tomorrow is sitting out of the crossover this year and Black Lightning is also not involved. The character is described as a hero with a flair for social justice who isn't afraid to speak her mind.

Ruby Rose was first announced to be playing Katherine Kane / Batwoman earlier this year. Although we have yet to see her act in the role, she definitely looks the part. "Twitter didn't exist, but we would get boxes of letters expressing opinions in all directions from were we making enough change, should we be making more change, or why did we feel like we needed to do these things?"

Rose took the role of Batwoman primarily to help shed more light on an unrepresented community. However, the fact that she wasn't Jewish wasn't the only way people went after Rose.
