Saudi Arabia says it is a beacon of light fighting ‘dark’ Iran

Saudi Arabia will not extradite suspects in the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in the kingdom's Istanbul consulate, the Saudi foreign minister said.

Turkey has other "information and evidence" about the killing by Saudi officials after Khashoggi entered the consulate on October 2, and it will eventually reveal that information, Erdogan said without elaborating.

In a statement, Turkish Justice Ministry said on October 26 that Istanbul prosecutors have prepared a requisition for 18 suspects on charges of planned and deliberate murder with monstrosity and torture.

"You see, an important Saudi official uses an expression ... and we say it's now evident that he is killed, but where is it (the body)?"

Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir speaks during the second day of the dialogue.

Macron also said that if Saudi Arabia is to be sanctioned, "we must do so across the board". Saudi Arabia is the lynchpin of a USA -backed regional alliance against Iran but the outcry over the murder has strained Riyadh's relations with the West. Dozens of Western officials, bankers and executives boycotted a major investment conference in Riyadh this week.

"The statements he made about the subject were totally opposite within a very short period of time, and I totally took what he said [about a visit] as something he said to garner support from the public and considered it as such", she said Friday.

Turkey's increasing hardline stance against Saudi Arabia comes as Russian Federation injected itself into case, saying that it had no reason to doubt the statements of the Saudi King and Crown Prince that the Royal family was not involved in the murder.

CIA Director Gina Haspel has reportedly briefed the President on the contents of the audio recording that Turkish officials say proves Washington Post writer Jamal Khashoggi was murdered by Saudi officials in the Istanbul Consulate earlier this month, according to the Post.

The announcement came a day after the Saudi prosecutor said that based on evidence supplied by Turkey the murder appeared to have been premeditated - the first time Saudi authorities had made such an admission.

Kelling of Khashoggi was planned: Saudi prosecutors.

The European Parliament on Thursday passed a non-binding resolution urging an EU-wide arms embargo on Saudi Arabia in response to the murder.

Mr Trump has called the case "one of the worst cover-ups in history".

Speaking in Ankara, Erdogan, who has so far stopped short of directly blaming the Saudi government, called on Riyadh to reveal who ordered the killing and the whereabouts of Khashoggi's body.

She said she did not accept President Trump's invitation to visit the White House because she thought it was aimed at influencing public opinion in his favour.

Later, however, it said that Khashoggi was killed accidentally in a "fist fight" with a Saudi hit squad.

After denying knowledge of Khashoggi's whereabouts for almost three weeks, Riyadh admitted Khashoggi's murder had been "premeditated" but denied the involvement of the kingdom's powerful Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

"There is strong cooperation with most Western countries, with military relations, which are clear and totally transparent", Macron said.

It took two weeks for Saudi authorities to publicly acknowledge that Khashoggi was dead.

He said the remains had be found inside the well, but that has yet to be confirmed by Turkish investigators.
