Which running backs have been linked to the Philadelphia Eagles?

All of which had speculation running rampant Monday that Philadelphia might try to swing a trade for Le'Veon Bell.

It's a tough blow for an Eagles team that has been dealing with injuries to key players.

It helped that the Eagles had already been linked to Bell, in large part because of a late-September report from Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports. The Eagles will likely need to create near $10 million to sign their draft picks and their undrafted free-agents.

It's dot-connecting season in the NFL. Nothing is official sine the Eagles have been denying just about every report that emerges, but here are four names that have been rumored, whether it happens to be from actual reports or simply just an idea that seems like it would work.

Ajayi is now in his second year with the Eagles after spending three seasons with the Miami Dolphins. Last year, he suffered a dislocated wrist in Week 1 and missed the rest of the season.

Ajayi, in his team's loss to Minnesota on Sunday, carried the ball just eight times for 29 yards.

The team was fairly cap strapped, but with Fletcher Cox's contract reworked, the Eagles now have about $11 million in cap space, according to Spotrac.

As for the 2-3 Bills, you'd think they would be eager to trade the 30-year-old running back.

Darren Sproles hasn't played since week one because of a hamstring injury. Well, the Eagles are at least semi-interested, it appears.

That would be more than enough to take on McCoy's nearly $9 million cap hit over the next two seasons. He also caught one pass for five yards.
