Jimmy Butler says he'll fit in easily with Philadelphia 76ers

Miami now heads on a two-game road trip against the New York Nets on Wednesday and the Pacers on Friday before returning home to face the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday. He has played in all 13 games for Minnesota this season, but he's averaging just 13.6 minutes per contest.

"Like most coaches, he'll be measured on the success of the team", Taylor said on Tuesday. He's averaging a reasonable 27.5 minutes per game so far this season, after averaging over 33 minutes per game a year ago, so even with a move to the bench his role should be stable.

There were things about Wednesday's game that were exciting for the Sixers in the long term. The Magic played quite well again on Monday in Washington, D.C., but foul trouble and a lack of bench production led to a 117-109 loss to the Wizards.

Redick was terrific all night, with 22 points, including four three-pointers, but the late-game collapse showed just how much Philly could use a couple more three-point shooters.

Nikola Vucevic led Orlando with 30 points and 8 rebounds while Aaron Gordon had 17 and six, Wes Iwundu found his stroke for 11 points and Ross finished with 15 points and seven rebounds.

Covington was a member of the NBA All-Defensive first team last season as Philadelphia advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinals.

"Just being around the guys, getting to know them a little bit, and being hella confused by some plays", Butler said of what he got out of shootaround. "We have stretches right now where we're very good".

"There's more than one way to get the ball". But I feel Markelle Fultz has been surrounded by insulation and friends and team family, and my judgment is he's fine with it. That's how I'm going to do it.

"I love basketball", he said. "I can control this (rehab) potion with the training staff by working really hard to strengthen those lower extremities so it doesn't happen again".
