Newlyweds Die in Helicopter Crash on Way to Honeymoon

Only two hours after Will Byler and Bailee Ackerman tied the knot on November 3, the newlyweds boarded a Bell 206B helicopter near the Byler family ranch, approximately 15 miles northwest of Uvalde, Texas.

Wagner also made a post on Facebook that's been shared almost 20,000 times.

Mr Byler's grandfather, William Byler, told Houston TV station KTRK that both had died as a result of the accident, with friends and family having cheered them on as they took off from the ranch.

According to university newspaper the Houstonian, Will Byler had been studying agricultural engineering, and Bailee Ackerman Byler was studying agricultural communication. It was a handsome outdoor ceremony at the ranch owned by the groom's family outside San Antonio, Texas.

Later, all that remained on the site was a picture of the couple, their names and the date and place of the wedding.

On social media, wedding attendees have been posting their condolences in the captions of wedding photos.

"So thankful we got to spend these last few days with y'all. The two loved Jesus and were flawless for each other". Thousands of people commented on her post to express sorrow.

One wrote on Instagram: "I have peace in the fact that you left this earth so full of happiness and love. Today is the beginning of forever TOGETHER!", said her post.

Early reports indicated the pilot also was killed.
