Why isn’t Victoria Beckham taking part in the Spice Girls reunion?

The video is in the style of a news bulletin, and sees the girls bickering over Geri's outfit before breaking into song - with a voiceover declaring the Spice Girls tour "a shock announcement".

The band plans to take the stage without fashion designer Victoria Beckham, who performed as "Posh Spice" during the group's 1990s pop heyday.

The Spice Girls 1996 debut single Wannabe topped the charts in 37 countries, including the UK, US and Germany. This is the first time the Spice Girls have toured since their 2007-2008 reunion tour, though all five members reunited for a performance at the London Summer Olympics in 2012.

The legendary pop group has mapped out a six-date United Kingdom tour for June, culminating in a date at London's Wembley Stadium.

"She's got a full-on life with all of her work commitments and her fashion line and her kids, so, she's just kind of not committing just yet", Brown added. Tickets are on sale this Saturday (11/10) at 10AM EST. Each band member is said to have received £10m to promote a new greatest hits album, along with other still-to-be-announced endorsements.

But "Posh Spice" Victoria Beckham will not be heading out the tour. "There is a reunion tour happening, now it's going to be - I'm not supposed to say when - but it is happening", she said on the United Kingdom show Loose Women. They will be supported by Jess Glynne. "I hope so. It would be a shame if she didn't".

Geri previously left the band in 1998 in order to pursue a solo career before returning for the reunion tour.

And Mel B said: "Reminiscing with the girls about how much fun we had, made me feel like it was the right time to do it all over again!" "I didn't like to say that, but we'll go everywhere else in the world, but right now it's just in the United Kingdom".
