Aaron Ramsey agrees five-year deal with Juventus

Aaron Ramsey agrees five-year deal with Juventus

Aaron Ramsey could fast track his big-money move overseas to Juventus "as soon as this weekend" but Arsenal are demanding £18million if the Welshman complete the switch in January.

The report says Ramsey's current preference is to go overseas with Juventus leading the chase for his signature but if the 28-year-old decides to remain in the Premier League then his preference would be to join Liverpool.

Ramsey will only be second to Cristiano Ronaldo but ahead of conspicuous stars such as paolo Dybala and Douglas Costa in the wage scheme.

Once Ramsey's choice is made, he is expected to sign a pre-contract agreement and undergo a medical this month. "I would like him to stay, but if he wants to run it down and leave, then let him leave and we'll find someone else".

"It's the same with Aaron Ramsey, if you're saying that Arsenal are in the market only for loans, to not try and possibly tempt him with, if it is money, a little bit more to keep him and not have to fork out a fee is insane".

"If I'm Aaron Ramsey, I'm thinking I've done a lot more, in respect of what I'm doing at the club in the time I've been here compared to what Mesut Ozil has done up to this point, albeit under a different regime".

'And I was very happy with him in the last match.

'His future is for him, his family and his agent.

Ramsey had scored 11 goals and created nine assists last season and is following that with one goal and six assists this year.

Emery also revealed that Arsenal can only afford to make loan additions in January as they aim to end a two-year absence from the Champions League.

"I don't know how his situation is but I know the club is working for the possibility of players who can help us with this condition (on loan)". He played with a big commitment to us. He won three FA Cups with the club, scoring the winning goal in the 2014 and 2017 final.
