Brahim Diaz Set For Real Madrid Move

Manchester City sold young starlet Brahim Diaz to Real Madrid for a cool £22m earlier this week, although it is a reported clause in the deal which has got tongues wagging!

Consequently, the 19-year-old is set to depart for the Spanish capital imminently, with just six months remaining on his current deal at the Eithad Stadium.

But, if he were to move to any Manchester club from Madrid, City would be entitled to 40 per cent of any sell on fee.

The Spanish prodigy has signed a six-and-a-half-year deal with Los Blancos, and is due to complete his medical and being presented to the fans at the Bernabeu on Monday afternoon. A woman told the paper that the unidentified...

"I had three options after deciding to leave Manchester City".

The player, who will wear the No. 21 shirt then spoke stating: "I'm arriving at the club I dreamed of playing as a boy".

Foden, who is yet to start a game for City in the Premier League so far this campaign, has made eight appearances off the bench.

They are clearly wary that Diaz may grow to become a world superstar, and want to do anything possible to prevent him from moving to their city rivals. "I promise to give 100 per cent from the first day and to pay back the faith you have put in me".

Madrid president Florentino Perez praised the youngster and said his enthusiasm to join the European champions will help him succeed. The England under-21 global has yet to start a Premier League game but sources say he is viewed as the successor to David Silva with Pep Guardiola determined to make him a first-team regular.
