Bryan Robson sends message to Man United fans about Paul Pogba

Now Pogba has told Sky Sports that he is enjoying his football once again under Solskjaer, as he hinted the new management team have brought direction to a team that has lost its way.

The Red Devils were 1-0 winners at third-placed Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley last weekend thanks to Marcus Rashford's 44th-minute victor.

Manchester United star man Paul Pogba arrived the Carrington training ground in a brand new yellow Ferrari, but will have to get that baby seat fitted soon.

The duo are the only two managers in the history to start their Premier League tenures with six wins on the spin: Guardiola back at the start of the 2016/17 campaign, and Ancelotti in 2009/10 (the latter would go on to win the title that season).

"As a result, Paul is looking like the world-class player we thought we'd signed from Juventus, and Manchester United are a better team".

The 25-year-old has netted five goals in five Premier League games since the Norwegian took over.

"He has given Paul the licence to do whatever he likes".

Pogba recently spoke out about his change in fortunes at the club since Mourinho's departure.

Asked about retiring, Mourinho said: "No I want to coach, I'm too young".

"I keep saying this because people don't know what is going on behind the scenes".

Though the World Cup victor gets his fair share of criticism, perhaps he's just one of those players who needs an arm around the shoulder every now and again. "And we're winning so indeed I am always smiling".

Information from ESPN FC's Manchester United correspondent Rob Dawson was used in this report.

Pogba was not part of United's session at Carrington on Wednesday ahead of Saturday's game against Brighton.

United are level on points with fifth-placed Arsenal heading into the weekend, with Unai Emery's team hosting fellow Champions League aspirants Chelsea.
