Geoffrey Cassidy was caught peeping into a 15-year-old girl's bedroom before her father, former University of Wisconsin-Stout and National Football League cornerback Tony Backham, found Cassidy and proceeded to teach the peeper a lesson.

A man was arrested Monday morning after police say he was accused of peeping through the windows of a Wellington home. Beckham said he was getting ready for work when he noticed a commotion outside the window of his home.

"I waited for a second and I looked again", he said. He was being held on $1,500 bond Thursday, according to jail records.

Beckham beat Cassidy up before police arrived and arrested the alleged peeper.

"I couldn't believe it".

'I caught him at the apartment over there and we just had a good conversation, ' Beckham quipped in an interview with WPBF.

Cassidy was arrested and taken a nearby medical facility where it was determined he had a fractured cheekbone and eye socket before being brought to the West Detention Center on charges of lewd and lascivious exhibition. "I'm sorry that it happened to him", Beckham told WPBF. He is accused of looking to a 15-year-old girl's bedroom while touching himself with his trousers partly down.

Cassidy attempted to run away but was quickly tackled by Beckham until police arrived.
