Fox News’ Tucker Carlson to Interview Roger Stone

Fox News’ Tucker Carlson to Interview Roger Stone

"Did the president direct someone to contact Roger Stone?".

He was released on a $250,000 personal surety in Fort Lauderdale.

The agents arrested him on Friday on charges of obstruction, giving false statements, and witness tampering in relation to the ongoing Russian Federation investigation.

CNN, in video of the arrest, showed a heavily armed Federal Bureau of Investigation team taking Stone away from his home in the dark just before 6am and Stone surrendering without any issue.

Trump reacted to the news on Twitter, calling Mueller's investigation the "Greatest Witch Hunt in the History of our Country!" and added: "NO COLLUSION!"

What exactly is Stone being charged with? In it, he proclaims, "My name is Roger Stone, and I'm an agent provocateur". I will plead not guilty to these charges.

"There's no circumstance under which I would bear false witness to the president". "Namely, before he was appointed, was there illegal collusion, illegal conspiracy with Russian Federation?"

Hours later, he appeared in court in a blue polo shirt and jeans.

He maintained his innocence though was at times inaudible because of loud boos and chants of "Lock him up!" Stone has denied any wrongdoing.

"At the crack of dawn, 29 Federal Bureau of Investigation agents arrived at my home with 17 vehicles with lights flashing". They terrorized my wife, my dogs.

What links Stone to the email hack?

Shortly after another email dump, "an associate of the high-ranking Trump Campaign official sent a text message to STONE that read 'well done'". He says any error he made in his testimony wasn't intentional.

From July 22, 2016, onward, WikiLeaks published troves of emails stolen from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

Self-described political "dirty trickster" Roger Stone was arrested on Friday. Stone testified before the House Intelligence Committee on September 26, 2017.

In the indictment of Stone, however, Mueller's team alleges that a top Trump campaign official directed Stone to contact WikiLeaks regarding the hack and release of thousands of Democratic emails. "Stone was contacted by senior Trump Campaign officials to inquire about future releases by Organization 1".

As almost every American knows by now, special counsel Robert Mueller was appointed in May 2017 by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to "oversee the previously confirmed FBI investigation of Russian government efforts to influence the 2016 presidential election and related matters".

The Mueller investigation has also focused on Mr Stone's communications with Twitter persona Guccifer 2.0, which USA intelligence officials say is a front for Russian military intelligence.

The president's counsel, Jay Sekulow, said: "The indictment today does not allege Russian collusion by Roger Stone or anyone else. Stone made to Congress". Stone left the campaign just a few months later - he said he quit, Trump said he was sacked - but stayed close, frequently holding late-night phone calls with the candidate to discuss strategy and messaging.

Prosecutors had offered a plea agreement to Stone friend Jerome Corsi that would have required the conspiracy theorist and conservative author to admit that he intentionally lied to investigators about a discussion with Stone about WikiLeaks.

The Kremlin has denied interfering with the 2016 election.

"We need to know who that is, because it's not acceptable for members of presidential campaigns to lie to the American people and then continue to lie about it and then minimize it as it's no big deal", Alksne said. During that time, Stone also began stating in media interviews and public events that he had been in touch with Assange.

He reportedly does not wear socks, and favours custom-made suits. "Richard Nixon", prosecutors said. Mr Stone had been predicting his indictment for some time. Stone don't have anything to do with the president'.
