Juventus Make Stance On Gonzalo Higuain Clear To Chelsea

Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso revealed on Saturday that the Argentina global wants to leave San Siro before the end of the month, and Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is keen on a reunion, three years after last working with the striker at Napoli.

Chelsea are anxious about committing big money for the 31-year-old striker, and according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus have stressed that Higuain will not be allowed to leave AC Milan and join the Blues on a simple loan deal.

"When a player makes decisions, then it's also hard to convince him". He is a Milan player at this moment and we are happy about this, we will hold on tightly to him. "I don't know what will happen". "We are honest with each other and I want him to maintain this attitude, which has never been lacking thus far".

"The most important thing is, when you talk to people, you look at each other and say the truth".

"I still don't understand what Higuain's unhappy about because I see a happy lad, involved in the locker room. If it was up to me, I'd keep him at my house and feed him my dinner".

Patrick Cutrone scored both goals in extra time as they got past the hosts, leaving Gattuso pleased at the result.

"As I've always said, it is often up to the player to choose".

Let us know in the comments. Cutrone and Conti gave us a lot of quality.

Saturday's match saw new signing Lucas Paqueta make his debut and Gattuso was impressed, highlighting the former Flamengo star's movement.

"I liked [Paqueta's] game, especially in the second half", Gattuso added.
