Mortal Kombat 11 Reveal Event

Dwayne Johnson's "Project Rock" line helped catapult the athletic line into popular consciousness, and now Under Armour has expanded its partnerships to the Mortal Kombat franchise with with six custom basketball shoes commemorating an upcoming collection of branded footwear and apparel. Amongst the "multiple modes" is the Towers of Time, building upon the Challenge Tower and Living Towers modes that came before it. "You can't predict everything", Garcia says, "there's so many things up in the air, but the main goal is to make sure that [Mortal Kombat 11] is the exact same game on all platforms".

As usual Mortal Kombat 11 is a one-on-one fighter, with returning characters including Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Baraka, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Skarlet, and Sonya Blade.

When asked how she feels about voicing this character, Ronda said it's a dream come true.

There were 25 character slots shown in the livestream, and we had our first look at new time-manipulating character Geras.

The gameplay reveal of Mortal Kombat XI, kicked off with a the sizzliest of sizzle reels, showing off a large number of returning characters that mega fans will extremely happy to hear are coming back.

So far, eight playable characters have been confirmed for the video game franchise, which has been running since 1992.

Warner Bros has also released a montage of Mortal Kombat's most iconic feature, Fatalities, showcasing the most gruesome, over-the-top Fatalities in Mortal Kombat history.

We already have a release date for the game but we may hear more about Kollector's Editions tonight.
