"I was sickened as a prosecutor", she said.

Foxx reiterated that there are dedicated professionals who are willing to help the survivors unpack their horrific experiences and urged victims to call the prosecutor's office at 773-674-6492.

"I hope and pray that the DA makes a move quick from out of Chicago or out of Atlanta because at this point, he may be leaving the country with these girls and whoever to try to flee from this situation", said Timothy Savage. The Savages claim they have not seen their daughter in two years. We're told the Chief Investigator has been in contact with the family of Joycelyn Savage, who has not spoken with her family in years.

But Georgia isn't the only jurisdiction where law enforcement officials are taking the allegations of predatory sexual behavior and pedophilia raised in the docuseries against R. Kelly seriously.

Foxx's announcement the news that the Fulton County District Attorney's Office has opened an investigation into accusations made against Kelly in the docuseries.

Kelly's Chicago attorney, Steve Greenberg, said in a phone interview Tuesday evening that the allegations in the Lifetime documentary were false.

Griggs told FOX 5 News that in the past few days, very senior members of the DA's office have contacted Griggs regarding witness information in the case.

Her office covers Chicago where Kelly has a home.

"There is nothing that can be done to investigate these allegations without the cooperation of both victims and witnesses", Foxx told the cameras. "Allegations of domestic violence or sexual assault require someone to say what they've seen, heard or experienced". Russell accused Savage of lying to Lifetime and that if he continued to support the series, Russell and Kelly would be forced to release information that would show Savage was a liar.

When the warrant was issued in July, the judge cited "terroristic threats and acts". Now, James Mason is in big trouble because according to CNN, a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

A Cook County jury acquitted Kelly of all 14 counts of child pornography in 2008.

Kelly won a Grammy in 1997 for "I Believe I Can Fly", and is known for such raunchy hits as "Bump N' Grind" and "Ignition".
