Celebs wear pro-Trump fashion at the 2019 Grammys

Celebs wear pro-Trump fashion at the 2019 Grammys

Joy Villa, who takes advantage of her Grammy spotlight every year, stuck with her right-wing message at the show on Sunday (Feb 10).

"I'm wearing this silver suit and stretchy trousers, and after the photo, he smacks my a** really hard", Villa told Politico. The words "Build the Wall" were emblazoned on the back side of the dress - designed by Desi Lee Allinger-Nelson of Desi Designs Couture. "This is my Make America Great Again purse and dress is by Desi Designs Couture, and it represents the wall", she told Fox News on February 10.

A few supporters of President Donald Trump made their fashion marks on the Grammy red carpet.

"Well to no surprise, I'm still a Trump supporter and supporting the president and what he's doing".

Rebel wore a red, white and blue jacket over white trousers tucked into white boots.

"I'm part-Latina, I'm black", she added, saying the dress was her way of making a statement to her progressive peers who were at the event.

In 2018, Villa abandoned the Trump theme in favor of expressing her antiabortion stance, debuting a gown she painted herself that featured a fetus surrounded by colors of the rainbow, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

While Villa walked most of the red carpet wearing the border wall-inspired dress, she didn't arrive that way.

"The amount of sheer hatred, racism & violent ignorance thrown at me for wearing my support would be heartbreaking if it weren't so over the top hilarious", Villa tweeted Monday.

But Villa didn't keep her message only on her dress.

Villa's dress was made to look like a border wall with barbed wire and on the back of the dress was a sign that read "build the wall". Eventually she decided Trump needed public support. "I listen to truth", she wrote in the caption.

When the singer first arrived on the red carpet, she wore a silver overlay covering her dress, but eventually removed the layer. I approach it as a show.

"One in three women who are trying to come to this country illegally are sexually assaulted", Villa explained. I want to "wow" people.
