National Basketball Association trade deadline: 76ers send Fultz to Magic

Though Fultz became the first teenager in National Basketball Association history to record a triple-double, doing so on the final game of the 2017-18 regular season, he's also struggled to find his shooting stroke.

Fultz had a tumultuous time in Philadelphia where he dealt with a hitch in his jump shot, a couple of injuries and a fair amount of underachievement. "This is an incredible opportunity for us to add a former No. 1 overall draft pick to our roster and to add depth to our backcourt".

Fultz was a third-team All-American at the University of Washington. I never really felt like the city got a chance to see him. Fultz showed signs of his defensive ability when he was playing for the Sixers earlier this season.

Whatever was going on in Philadelphia clearly wasn't working for him. After a hard rookie season, he's been sidelined since mid-November with a nerve condition in his shoulder and neck. "There's no question that it's a high reward", Weltman said.

Fultz was the consensus No. 1 pick by pundits everywhere ahead of the 2017 draft.

With the move for Harris and the one three months ago to land Jimmy Butler, Brand has pushed most of his chips into the center of the table for a team that ended a five-year playoff drought last season and is built around two young All-Stars: Joel Embiid, 24, and Ben Simmons, 22.

"You spend one year in college and we're paid very well for what we do, but there's so much that goes along with that, " admitted Isaac, who noted that his play has taken off of late in part because he stopped "beating up on myself so much". "I feel for Markelle in the situation that he's been in and I'm glad that he's out of it".
