Samsung Galaxy S10 release date confirmed by official pre-order website

We're just a week away from the moment when Samsung will take the wraps off the new Galaxy S10 lineup, and after highly-detailed leaks provided us with an early look at the spec sheet, here's the South Korean firm itself revealing some info ahead of the public launch.

Aiming to disrupt the mid-segment smartphone market, Samsung India past year launched four new smartphones in its Galaxy A and J series with "Infinity Display" - a bezel-less screen for an immersive viewing experience. The device is also expected to have a 6GB/128GB variant.

The largest S10+ will have a 6.3-inch display, also with Gorilla Glass 6, and will have two different color schemes. It'll use Samsung's Infinity-V screen, which has a notch in the middle to house its 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Galaxy A10, Galaxy A20 and Galaxy A30 phones are rumored to get announced in the first quarter of this year whereas the Galaxy A50 my go official in the second quarter of this year.

Moving up a bit, the Galaxy A30 comes with 3D glossy plastic design and a 6.4-inch full-HD+ resolution. First set of teasers of the Galaxy S10 are coming all the way from Vietnam. It is powered by the Exynos 8895 octa-core processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. There is no confirmation on whether it features an AMOLED screen which indicates that it may come with an LCD display.

The phone is available in grey, purple, and gold as of writing, but black and blue are out of stock. The Galaxy A10 will come packed with a 4000mAh battery, a microUSB port (not again!), and 5W charging. There is no confirmation on the support for microSD card slot on the device.

For photography, it will have a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera.

One spec common to these devices seems to be the battery, which is a 4,000 mAh unit and gets fast charging support on the A30 and A50.

The low-end version of Galaxy S10 series, that is S10 Lite, will have a dual rear camera setup of a 12MP wide lens with f/1.5 aperture clubbed with a 16MP ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture.

Samsung Galaxy S10+ will likely come in 3 storage options- 6GB/128GB, 8GB/512GB and 12GB/1TB.
