Odell Beckham Jr. traded to Cleveland Browns

Not even seven months after the Giants signed Odell Beckham jr.to a five-year contract extension with $65 million in guaranteed cash, they have traded him to the Cleveland Browns. "We didn't sign Odell Beckham to trade him", Gettleman told reporters at the NFL Draft Combine a couple weeks ago. However, conflicting reports on the issue are still coming out. The biggest difference and the reason Beckham was traded at a premium and Brown was in the bargain bin is because Brown created enough chaos to push down his value but not eliminate it completely.

Last NFL season was a hard one for the Giants, who finished bottom of the NFC East Division on a 5-11 record.

Addressed it on this week's podcast. Over the past week or so, there's been plenty of smoke surrounding Odell Beckham Jr. potentially being traded to the Cleveland Browns.

Trading Beckham so soon after signing him to a megadeal will cost the Giants dearly.

'There is no f****** plan, it's a mess, it's a joke, ' tweeted one disgruntled Giants fan.

It's 2019, and the Cleveland Browns are going to be legitimate contenders in the NFL. With Beckham's dismissal from the division, the Eagles have three of the top five receivers in the NFC East. He had a third consecutive Pro Bowl season in 2016 with 101 catches for 1,367 yards and 10 touchdowns.

"We've had talks, " he said with a smile, "but at the end of the day, I want him to be happy". "The Browns are probably a front-runner for that".

On the Browns, OBJ will catch passes alongside Jarvis Landry, his former college teammate at LSU.

Fans in Cleveland better get their popcorn ready for the upcoming season.

Beckham had approved a trade to the Dallas Cowboys so that he could play with quarterback Dak Prescott and, as you might expect, make the Giants pay dearly twice a year.

There's plenty more where that came from as well.

Imagine Beckham doing everything Cooks did this season, but more.
