R. Kelly back in custody after child support hearing today

R. Kelly back in custody after child support hearing today

On Wednesday, Kelly was taken back into custody after telling a judge he could not pay back child support, the Associated Press reported.

In an emotionally charged interview with Gayle King that aired Wednesday on CBS This Morning, the singer grew increasingly agitated, eventually looking directly into the camera, yelling and standing up out of his chair.

"We have never received a penny from R. Kelly".

Singer R. Kelly goes through security after he arrived at the Daley Center for his hearing, on March 6, 2019 in Chicago, Illinois. The Cook County Sheriff's Office revealed that Kelly will have to pay the full amount before he can be released from jail.

Johnson said they hoped to get him out of jail by Wednesday of next week, but no bond has been set at this time. I need help. I need somebody to help me not have such a big heart.

"I didn't do this stuff!"

Kelly, out on bail following his February 22 arrest in Chicago, said earlier in the interview that he had done "lots of things wrong" when it comes to women, but said he has apologized.

In 2002 he was charged after allegedly filming himself having sex with a 14-year-old girl.

"All of them are lying", Kelly said "I have been assassinated".

Kelly says he's done "lots of things wrong" when it comes to women, but he says he's apologized.

A lawyer for a Georgia couple who say their daughter is being held against her will by R. Kelly lashed out after a television interview with the R&B singer.

He has pleaded not guilty to 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse.

The young woman also said she stopped speaking to her parents because they've been causing "problems in her life" by saying Kelly is keeping her hostage. If I were going to take my daughter, and she is 19-years-old to a 49-year-old's concert, I am not going to put her on the stage and leave her.

The alleged victim, who is now 30, has claimed Kelly lured her to his Detroit hotel room for sex when she was just 13 years old in December 2001, Chicago's CBS 2 reports.

KELLY: That's stupid! Use your common sense.

Joycelyn and Azriel's sit down follows Kelly's explosive interview with Gayle, in which he addressed claims he met and started dating the young women, who he called his "girlfriends", as minors.

"I am crying because you guys don't know the truth and you guys believe in some f*****g facade that our parents are saying for money and if you can't see that then you're ignorant and you're stupid!"

In Kelly's case, he and his attorney might have decided they had nothing to lose after the Lifetime series, said Fred Thiagarajah, a prominent Newport Beach, California, attorney and former prosecutor.
