When will Facebook, Instagram outage be fixed?

A spokesperson for the social media giant said: "We're aware that some people are now having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps". Other services in the Facebook family have made similar comments, such as Oculus, which said in its own tweet that it working on fixing the problem.

We know. Our @facebook and @instagram haven't been working either.

Facebook's main product, its Messenger service, image-sharing site Instagram and messaging app WhatsApp have all been disrupted. Some users saw a message that said Facebook was down for "required maintenance". I can access my account but I am still unable to post or interact with posts.

As of March 13 at 8:00 p.m. EST Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp are all Reporting Partial Outages.

While Facebook users tend to freak out at even the smallest problems, the current outage is much, much longer than usual. Others, on the other hand, simply receive an error message that says "something went wrong".

Updated Both Google and Facebook suffered outages Wednesday, with the Chocolate Factory leading the way and seemingly fixing its issues just as Zuck's network became decidedly antisocial.

People reported having trouble loading the website and sending emails.

Users in the United Kingdom have been worse affected in London, according to website DownDetector.

Our Facebook and Instagram haven't been working either.

PIX11 has reached out to spokespeople for the various platforms for more information.

When attempting to log in to the site, some users were greeted by a message stating "Facebook will be back soon".
